Psychology gives me a useful lens on the human side of security — social engineering, decision-making under uncertainty — while my CS coursework and internships have let me work across a real range of technical ground: voice engineering at Union Pacific, cybersecurity and AI at Fiserv, cybersecurity work with the University of Nebraska system, and leading full-stack development at Aulick Industries. Cybersecurity specifically is also where a lot of my own time goes outside of class and work — I've set up DNS-level network defenses, broken classical ciphers by hand-rolled cryptanalysis, and gone through blue-team training with Cloud Range.
